Abstract:
This article builds from the keynote address delivered by the author at the 2015 Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy (GIKA) conference held in Valencia, Spain. The author elucidates the terms knowledge and innovation and then discusses the current issues facing the innovation process. Following this, he points out the opportunities for innovation and ends by offering a configuration to aid in generating new offering ideas in the 21st century.
