The relationship between mental health, risk, and community supervision outcomes

Abstract: The current study explores the relationship between mental health conditions and supervision compliance and recidivism. Prior research consistently reports no support for a direct relationship. As an alternative, the relationship between mental health and compliance may be indirect or spurious.
