Abstract:
This paper explores the concept of criminal expertise within the context of online pedophile community and applies rational choice theory to understand the decision-making processes of offenders. Specifically, this study aims to explore the cybersecurity concerns of dark web pedophile forum users known to be a hard-to-reach offender population.
