Abstract:
Simple computer unit groups are used to test the performance of an analog computer by operating the units in a typical and relevant circuit. The performance is evaluated by absolute and relative observation of the generated group responses. The basis for the test program is the generation of multiple sinusoidal signals by harmonic oscillations, and the comparison of these signals both in amplitude and time, using switching circuit techniques. Several examples of performance test circuits are given, and the selected arrangements for two recent analog computer models are described.
