Abstract:
The four basic analogue computer operations are identified and utilized in a vector-matrix format for the computer equations. This format, which is reminiscent of the state equation model for a dynamical system, displays clearly the task of analogue computer programming and scaling for a given system model, the first as a transformation on the structure of the initial system model, the latter as a linear transformation on the system variables in the restructured form to computer variables.
