Treating nonresponse in the estimation of the distribution function

M. Rueda, S. Martínez and M. Illescas

Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 2021, vol. 186, issue C, 136-144

Abstract: The estimation of a finite population distribution function is considered when there are missing data. Calibration adjustment is used for dealing with nonresponse at the estimation stage. Several procedures are proposed and compared. A numerical study is carried out to evaluate the performances of estimators. Computational problems with the implementation of the proposed calibration estimators are also considered.
