A model of the growth and evolution of woods

Angelo Tartaglia

Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 1982, vol. 24, issue 2, 230-232

Abstract: A computer model, named BOSCO 1, is described aimed to simulate evolution and growth of a wood composed of one single species of trees. The main computed variables are the number and size (wood volume) of the trees. The effects of climate and accidents are taken into account. The model is written in DYNAMO II.
