Abstract:
The ability of a model of aquatic plant growth to make one-year projections is evaluated. In two out of four sampling stations, the results are quite good. At the other two stations the model predictions do not agree well with observations, but the 1981 observations from these stations are questionable. The main thing left to be ascertained is how to properly introduce the affects of harvesting into the model.
