Abstract:
The theory of two-phase flow provides a set of partial differential equations describing the dynamics of a fluidized bed. A code, developed by Systems, Science, and Software,1 to solve this system of equations is used to simulate a facility at Alexandria, Virginia.3 Calculated values of pressure drop are compared with experiment.
