Abstract:
The JINDALEE over-the-horizon radar has required modelling and simulation of both hardware and software concepts during its development. This paper describes three such applications: modelling and simulation of nonlinear radar receivers, validation of signal processing algorithms and data structures, and modelling of oceanic wind fields to support radar measurements.
