On some applications of the chrestenson functions in logic design and data processing

Abstract:
This paper is a survey of some applications of Chrestenson functions in multiple-valued logic design, pattern processing and system theory. Since a good survey on some applications of Spectral methods in Computer Science already appeared a few years ago [K81], we will try here to avoid repetitions as much as possible. The reader is referred to that former work for additional applications to logic design and system theory, and to error detection and correction in communication channels.
