Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 1985, vol. 27, issue 5, 551-557

Abstract: In this work a technique of solution for a class of linear equations in a Hilbert space H is described. The method is based on the Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization of a suitable base of a subspace of H. A particular case when the operator is the product of two projection operators is considered. Finally an application to an integral equation originating from a communication problem is presented.
