Minimization of the delay in a data-communication network with centralized control under uncertainty

Joseph Kreimer

Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 1987, vol. 29, issue 2, 123-127

Abstract: An adaptive algorithm which minimizes the delay in a data communication network with centralized control under uncertainty is presented. The model considered in Segall [5] is adopted. Additionally it is assumed that each measurement (observation) of the entering traffic to the network, the delays and the gradient of the delays are accompanied with some noise which is a random variable with unknown distribution.
