The space transformation in the simulation of multidimensional random fields

George Christakos

Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 1987, vol. 29, issue 3, 313-319

Abstract: Space transformations are proposed as a mathematically meaningful and practically comprehensive approach to simulate multidimensional random fields. Within this context the turning bands method of simulation is reconsidered and improved in both the space and frequency domains.
