Simulation methods in current transformer investigation and design

Abstract:
Current transformer (C.T.) design is based on laboratory experiments and the analysis and synthesis of a C.T. operation. Simulation methods have been used for the investigation of biased-core C.T. properties and structure optimization. The mathematical model assumed for the simulation is a set of nonlinear differential equations with nonlinear components representing magnetic properties of the core.
