Abstract:
This paper is concerned with the management of complex projects, and identifies a research approach to develop a project management training and support system. It adopts a methodology which differentiates between deep and surface knowledge, proposing the use of an appropriate qualitative mechanism at the deep level. This will enable one to generate a system which can cut across cultures, and which can aid the handling of transnational projects.
