Some reflexions about nonlinear control

Abstract:
Nonlinear control has attracted, in the last decade, the interest of many researchers and many theoretical results have been obtained. In the same time, in many fields of application, it has been recognized that a linear approach on linearized models, as used for long, is no more satisfactory. Hence it could be hoped that this conjunction of results and needs should induce a strong synergy and a fast transfer from research to industry.
