Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 1995, vol. 39, issue 5, 513-518
Abstract:
Simulation of object-oriented continuous time models requires solution of differential-algebraic equations. This paper discusses use of symbolic analysis and manipulation for detection of incompletenesses and inconsistencies, and for reduction and transformation of the user's problem into a form well-suited for numerical solution.
