Abstract:
We present a Clifford analysis approach to problems in fluid mechanics based on a suitable Clifford operator calculus. By way of illustration a non-linear stream problem with free convection is studied. The obtained representations and methods have to be complemented by explicit numerical calculations. For this reason we approximate our non-linear boundary value problems by finite difference methods. Analogously to the analytical considerations we apply a discrete function theory for lattice functions based on certain difference potentials to the discretized boundary value problem.
