Abstract:
The zonal polynomials are symmetric polynomial functions each of which is an eigenfunction of a kind of Laplace–Beltrami operator. We give a simplification of the Laplace–Beltrami operator. We realize a symbolic algorithm for obtaining the coefficients of zonal polynomials.
