Haar wavelet approach to nonlinear stiff systems

Abstract: A simple and effective algorithm based on Haar wavelet is proposed to the solution of nonlinear stiff problems in this paper. The simulation result shows that the whole computation time can be reduced to one tenth of the well-known Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg approach, while the accuracy is nearly the same.
