Abstract:
This paper deals with the phenomenon of magnetic saturation in electrical machines. Taking magnetic saturation into account leads to non-linear models which need to develop parameter estimation techniques well adapted. At first, the study concerns an elementary model of saturated iron core coils and the physical parameter estimation of this non-linear model, thanks to a Non-linear Programming algorithm.
