Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 2009, vol. 79, issue 5, 1577-1584

Abstract: In this paper the determination of the time-dependent heat transfer coefficient in one-dimensional transient heat conduction from a non-standard boundary measurement is investigated. For this inverse nonlinear ill-posed problem the uniqueness of the solution holds. Numerical results obtained using the boundary element method are presented and discussed.
