Determining the character of the relation between heat input and reflux ratio in a rectification column

Abstract:
The theoretical analysis shows that if the assumption of the constant tray efficiency of a rectification column is included in the mathematical model, the relation between thermal input and reflux ratio has a character of an unambiguous and monotone function.
