On the analog computer solution of first-order partial differential equations

W.D. Little and A.C. Soudack

Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (MATCOM), 1965, vol. 7, issue 4, 190-194

Abstract: The authors wish to point out the educational possibilities of an analog computer to demonstrate and clarify the fundamentals in the theory of partial differential equations. They, furthermore, develop an original method of solving a first order, non linear partial differential equation.
