Abstract:
A moderately dense gas of particles interacting through the pair potential, consisting of the hard core and the step repulsive barrier, is considered. Using the concepts underlying the Enskog theory for hard spheres we give the microscopic derivation of the kinetic equation in a case of our model potential.
