Abstract:
The composition of the coexisting phases of the system neon-xenon have been determined at different temperatures between the triple point and the critical point of xenon and at pressures up to 1520 bar. At 1039 bar the critical line of the system has a temperature minimum, the so-called critical double point, above which the system separates into two gaseous phases. The shape of the critical line has been compared to the results obtained from the theoretical models.
