Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1980, vol. 104, issue 3, 459-474
Abstract:
Glauber's continuous-time stochastic model for relaxation of spin systems is “imbedded” in discrete time as a Markov chain. The chain is a generalization of the Ehrenfest urn model as formulated by Hess. Some properties of the chain are discussed.
