Covariant Wigner function approach to the relativistic charged gas in a strong magnetic field

Abstract: Using covariant Wigner function techniques the charged zero spin gas embedded in a strong magnetic field is dealt with. The relativistic Wigner function for thermal equilibrium is calculated. Then the equation of state of the system is calculated. A relativistic and quantum Hartree-Vlasov equation is given.
