On representations of the superalgebra osp(2, 1)

N.B. Backhouse

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1982, vol. 114, issue 1, 410-412

Abstract: Finite-dimensional irreducible representations of the five-dimensional simple Lie superalgebra osp(2, 1) were first obtained by Corwin, Ne'eman and Sternberg. More recently Hughes has used the method of shift operators to construct the class of infinite-dimensional irreducible star representations. In this paper we find a wider class of representations by inducing from the Lie algebra su(1, 1). A Frobenius reciprocity result is verified.
