Abstract:
The so-called fields of world line parameters X0j appear, in a natural way, as a result of relativistic extension of the Lax-Nelson1) method involving the transition to a long-wave limit in media. For diffusive species of a medium the fields X0j differ from the corresponding fields of proper times. This conclusion is drawn from the analysis of the obtained expressions for flows and productions of the additive quantities. The nonequilibrium-relativistic kinematics of deformations-dissipations is presented in terms of fields X0j and fields of the Lagrangian variables. The complete formulation of the variational principle is given for a multicomponent system taking into account deformations, dissipations, and internal degrees of freedom describing medium polarization properties including those of the spin. A number of other results is obtained.
