Effective diffusion coefficient for a Brownian particle in a two-dimensional periodic channel

Abstract: The effective diffusion coefficient is evaluated for a Brownian particle diffusing in a two-dimensional channel bounded by periodically shaped walls. The result contain the scale factor for the conformal transformation that flattens the channel walls.
