Balance equations for a relativistic plasma

H. Hebenstreit

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1983, vol. 117, issue 2, 653-669

Abstract: The nonlinear collision term for binary elastic collisions is expressed by moments and “relativistic transport collision frequencies”. This is achieved by a relativistic generalization of Grad's fourteen moment approximation for the nonequilibrium distribution function. Each particle species is allowed to have its own temperature.
