A simple model for a symmetrical theory of generalised functions

Abstract:
The symmetrical theory of generalised functions is extended to include an appropriate limit concept for generalised functions. This concept allows the derivation of the fundamental theorem of the calculus for generalised functions which can be used as a convenient tool for the evaluation of integrals. The physically important limit properties associated with the limit to an infinite system are derived.
