Abstract:
Special representation of the distribution function is employed to obtain new solutions of the coupled Vlasov-Maxwell equations. This approach combines two modes of description used in plasma physics: magnetohydrodynamics and the theory of orbits. Using this method, we described plasma configurations confined in one and two directions in spacem with plane and cylindrical symmetry, respectively.
