On the quantum Liouville equation

Francis J. Narcowich

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1985, vol. 134, issue 1, 193-208

Abstract: In this paper I derive exact expressions for the remainder gotten when only a finite number of terms are kept in the semi-classical expansion for the quantum Liouville equation. Each expansion is a power series in ħ, but with coefficients that depend on ħ, and so it is not an ordinary semi-classical series.
