On fluctuations about non-equilibrium steady states near Gunn instability

A. Díaz-Guilera and J.M. Rubí

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1986, vol. 135, issue 1, 200-212

Abstract: Voltage fluctuations near Gunn threshold are analyzed by introducing a model which takes into account the presence of inhomogeneities in the donor density. Correlation functions in different representations are computed and critical behavior is discussed. Our results are compared with Keizer's previous calculations and experimental data.
