Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1986, vol. 135, issue 2, 591-600
Abstract:
A numerical method for calculating the stationary probability distribution for a two-box model of a bistable chemical system is developed. The probability distribution contours for a choice of values of the diffusion coefficients are displayed, and the relevance of these results to analytical approaches to the problem is discussed.
