Effective Hamiltonians for systems with mixed symmetry

V.I. Yukalov

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1986, vol. 136, issue 2, 575-587

Abstract: A rigorous definition for the averaging over phase configurations by means of functional sums over characteristic functions is given for an arbitrary lattice system being the mixture of several phases. The general form for the effective Hamiltonian of the heterophase system on a lattice is found.
