Abstract: The electric conductivity of a non-degenerate fully ionized plasma is calculated on basis of a quantum mechanical kinetic equation which is valid if the plasma parameter is small and if the Born approximation applies. Also a classical expression is derived. For both results dynamic screening of ions by ions is essential. Improved Coulomb logarithmic accuracy is obtained in the case of frequencies much larger than the mean collision frequency.
