On the non-integrability of some generalized Toda lattices

Abstract: We consider a one-parameter family of two-degrees-of-freedom generalized Toda Hamiltonians. Using Ziglin's theorem with some extensions, we prove the non-existence of an additional single-valued analytic integral except for special values of the parameter.
