Branch selectivity in a system crossing a bifurcation point: Fokker-Planck equation approach

Abstract: Using the Fokker-Planck equation, two methods are outlined to estimate the branch selectivity in a system crossing a bifurcation point. The results are compared with measurements and a recent theory. The accuracies of the measurements and predictions of the theory are discussed.
