Abstract:
A mathematical formalism for a statistical description of the local structure of condensed matter, based on the concept of the feature space of structural invariants, is presented. The qualitative analysis of the fluctuations in this space is given; the probabilistic characteristics of the type of local structure are introduced and the problem of the effectiveness of the recognition is studied.
