Orientational dependence of magnetic field effects in a molecular Knudsen gas

R. Horne, L.J.F. Hermans, S.Yu. Krylov and I. Kuščer

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1988, vol. 151, issue 2, 341-348

Abstract: Transport properties in molecular Knudsen gases can be influenced by an external magnetic field. The dependence of such effects upon field orientation directly reflects the shape of the underlying angular momentum polarizations. A relation between the orientational dependence of the saturated field effect and the polarization is established.
