Abstract:
A short review of the critical properties of 1/ƒ noise in percolating mixtures is presented, including continuum corrections and comparisons with experiments. The relation to multifractals and analogies with ordinary critical phenomena are recalled. New results on the effect of noisy insulators are also presented.
