Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1990, vol. 167, issue 1, 215-230

Abstract: The problem of the classical wave equation is mapped to the electronic Schrödinger equation. Thus various calculational techniques developed for the latter can be employed to study the equation of localization of classical waves. Results are presented for a random binary system.
