Abstract: Anomalous high relaxation rates of the low-field remanent magnetization in single crystals of YBa2Cu3Ox, CeCu2Si2, and (BEDT—TTF)2 Cu(SCN)2 indicate a novel dissipative mechanism in these three classes of superconductors. Fast decays of Mrem are observed also in powdered BaLaCuO at temperatures as low as 5 mK.
