Abstract:
Quantization of non-separable variables and quasiperiodic systems is considered. A Bloch electron in a magnetic field, diamagnetic edge states of open orbits, an elliptic shell in a magnetic field and a tunneling time response to an impulse are discussed. New irregular quantum oscillations, branching phase transitions and local space-time tunneling resonances are predicted.
