The two-dimensional Ising model with two defect lines — a Monte Carlo study

Walter Selke

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1991, vol. 177, issue 1, 460-465

Abstract: The nearest-neighbour two-dimensional Ising model with an interface as well as weakened couplings along two defect lines is considered. Results of an exploratory Monte Carlo study on effective correlation lengths parallel and perpendicular to the interface as well as the magnetization profile are reported.
