Temporal dimension and transition out of chaos

D. Otero, D. Giuliani and M. Sassano

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1991, vol. 178, issue 2, 280-288

Abstract: A real time process could evolve governed by difference-differential equations. We introduce this possibility of discrete-continuous evolution in the well-known unidimensional logistic equation, searching for new behaviour. An extension to general hybrid equations is proposed.
